Brief History:
Bridge Louvre Company is a family owned business and was incorporated on 9 February 1995, but our origins stretch back further than that.
Bridge Louvre has its roots in a former sheet metal fabrication business, which was established in 1965. Whilst primarily specialising in sheet metal fabrication, this business also had a small scale louvre fabrication department. Two of the current directors (Jon Beaumont and Richard Beaumont) and several of the current factory staff manufactured louvres for this business in the late 1980’s.
The banner image at the top of this page shows one of our current longest serving employees fitting louvres on a roof in the 1980’s. PPE requirements have changed a bit since then!

Following the closure of sheet metal business in 1995, Joyce Beaumont (now retired) decided to form a new company based solely on louvre fabrication. The Stalybridge roots of the business helped with the new name and Bridge Louvre was formed.
Originally the new business (Bridge Louvre) had one single saw and occupied a small area of the building we now own. Bridge Louvre quickly expanded to occupy half the building, with the remainder sublet to a sign making company. Following continued expansion we purchased the factory from the landlords and took occupation of the complete property. We have fully refurbished the property to ensure we have our current modern, efficient environment. In 2022 we extended our factory to the rear and side and upgraded our manufacturing machinery. Whilst a number of competitors have been and gone over the years, we are proud to have made a profit through every year of our existence. This has allowed us to invest in the business and ensure that we are financially strong with an excellent credit rating.
Other Information: Based in Stalybridge on the East side of Manchester, we are centrally located in the UK and around 3 miles from the M60 and M67 motorways. We welcome customers to arrange a visit to our premises, you can even charge your electric vehicle at our charging point whilst you have a coffee!
We have CHAS, SMAS and Constructionline accreditation. We also have 3 qualified first aiders within the company. Whilst we use sub-contract fitters on a number of our installation projects, we also have several members of our full-time staff who are available for site work and have the relevant CSCS cards

Deliveries outside this time must be pre-arranged.
